The link below will currently allow you to apply for Public Housing only. Our Housing Choice Voucher Program (also known as Section 8) services both Pettis and Johnson County Missouri. Our HCV waiting list is currently closed. Once your name reaches the top of the Public Housing waiting list you will be contacted to complete a full application which will also include a complete background check. It
is very important that you notify our agency if the following changes have occurred in your household:
Ø Your mailing address has changed.
Ø Your phone number has changed.
Ø Your household composition has changed.
When your name is selected from the Public Housing waiting list you will be contacted via mail and/or telephone. Please be prepared to provide the following information at the time of your full application interview:
| Birth Certificates for all household members | Social Security cards for all household members | A Valid Photo I.D. For all Household Members 18 & over | Current and verifiable proof of income for all applicable household members | |||
| Proof of applicable Assets. Examples include property, CD’s, stocks, bonds, etc. | Proof of applicable medical expenses for applicants who are 62 years of age or older and/or disabled | Verifiable proof of child care expenses |
